Prayer of Morning Dedication and Thanksgiving
Heavenly Father, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, we lift our voices unto You at the beginning of this day.
We thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in our bodies, and for the opportunity to serve You another day.
Lord, before we seek the things of this world, we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness.
We surrender our thoughts, our words, our actions, and our desires unto You.
Father, let everything we do today bring glory to Your holy name.
Guard our mouths from speaking evil, our eyes from looking upon wickedness, our ears from receiving ungodly counsel, and our hearts from entertaining sinful desires.
Help us to walk in the Spirit so that we will not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
We pray for wisdom in our workplaces, our homes, our schools, our churches, and our communities.
Give us patience when we are challenged, understanding when we are misunderstood, and compassion when we encounter those who are hurting.
Father, bless the work of our hands according to Your will.
Provide for the needs of our families and teach us to be faithful stewards of everything You have entrusted to us.
We pray for those who are unemployed and seeking opportunities to provide for their households. Open doors of honest employment and give them strength while they wait.
Lord, strengthen every husband and wife to walk in love, faithfulness, and mutual care. Give parents wisdom to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
We dedicate our ministry assignments to You. Let every word we speak, every prayer we offer, and every act of service point others toward Jesus Christ.
Father, fill us with the joy of Your salvation and strengthen us to walk in obedience throughout this day.
May our lives become living testimonies of Your grace, mercy, and transforming power.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
