Way of the Warrior
The Way of the Warrior — Day 7
Week 3 — Compete

Take the Battle to the Enemy

"And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;"
Mark 6:7 (KJV)

Welcome Back, Warrior. You've learned who you are in Christ. You've developed spiritual habits. Now it's time to put your faith into action. A soldier who only trains never fulfills his mission. Jesus never called His disciples to stay in one place—He sent them. This week is about stepping outside your comfort zone and allowing God to work through you. Your goal this week is simple: Put your faith into action.

This Week You Will Learn

By the end of this week, you will understand how to:

  • Serve alongside another believer.
  • Share your faith with confidence.
  • Pray for others instead of only yourself.
  • Stand in the gap through intercession.
  • Build God's Kingdom while fighting spiritual battles.

Lesson 1 — You Were Never Meant to Fight Alone

Mark 6:7 (KJV) "And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;" Jesus could have sent His disciples one by one, but He didn't. He sent them together because encouragement, accountability, and unity make us stronger. Takeaway: God designed me to grow and serve with others.

Lesson 2 — Go Where Jesus Sends You

Luke 10:1 (KJV) "After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come." Jesus still sends His people into homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities. Every believer has a mission field. Takeaway: Someone is waiting for the hope God has placed in me.

Lesson 3 — Build While You Battle

Nehemiah 4:17 (KJV) "They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon." Life doesn't stop because spiritual battles come. God calls us to keep building our families, ministries, and faith while standing ready for spiritual warfare. Takeaway: I will keep building even when I am battling.

Lesson 4 — Stand in the Gap

Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV) "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none." God is still looking for people who will pray for others, defend truth, and care enough to stand in the gap. Intercession is one of the greatest ways you can serve His Kingdom. Takeaway: I will stand in prayer for others, not just myself.

Lesson 5 — Use Your Voice

Proverbs 31:8–9 (KJV) "Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy." God has given you a voice to encourage, defend, and share His truth. Never underestimate how one conversation can change someone's life. Takeaway: God can use my voice to bring hope to someone today.

Your Weekly Challenge

Choose one believer to partner with this week. Together:

  • Pray together.
  • Encourage one person.
  • Share your faith with one person.
  • Pray for your city or community.
  • Identify one spiritual stronghold and pray against it.

Reflection

When this week is over, ask yourself: • What happened when I stepped out in faith? • How did serving with someone else strengthen me? • Who did God allow me to encourage? • What did I learn about myself by taking action?

Before You Move to Week 4…

Faith grows when it is exercised. This week you stopped watching and started participating. You discovered that ministry is not reserved for pastors or church leaders—it is the calling of every believer. COMPETE (Week 3) Application: Serve. Witness. Battle. Build. Result: Experience.

Mission Complete

This week you didn't simply learn about ministry— You became part of it. Next week, you'll enter Conquer, where you'll learn how to stand firm, endure opposition, and help others grow into Kingdom warriors alongside you.
