Developing Warrior Habits
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."— James 4:7 (KJV)
Welcome Back, Warrior. Now that you understand who you are in Christ, it's time to begin strengthening your spiritual life through consistent practice. Authority without discipline produces little impact. This week is about building habits that reinforce your identity and sharpen your ability to stand firm. Spiritual strength is developed through repetition, not occasional effort. Your goal this week is simple: Build daily spiritual disciplines that strengthen your walk with Christ.
This Week You Will Learn
By the end of this week, you will understand how to:
- Decree God's Word with authority.
- Bind and loose according to Scripture.
- Resist Satan effectively.
- Grow in spiritual discernment.
- Put on the Armor of God daily.
- Develop consistency in prayer, fasting, worship, and Scripture.
Lesson 1 — Speak and Decree God's Word
Job 22:28 (KJV) "Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways." God's Word is not just meant to be read—it is meant to be spoken. When you declare Scripture, you align your life with truth and release spiritual authority. Takeaway: I speak God's Word with confidence and authority.
Lesson 2 — Resist the Enemy
James 4:7 (KJV) "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Resistance is not passive—it is active. You resist the enemy by standing on God's Word, refusing temptation, and choosing obedience. Takeaway: When I resist the enemy, he must flee.
Lesson 3 — Bind and Loose
Matthew 18:18 (KJV) "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Jesus has given you authority to restrict what is not of God and release what aligns with His will. This is a powerful spiritual discipline that requires faith and understanding. Takeaway: I have authority to bind and loose according to God's will.
Lesson 4 — Put on the Armor Daily
Ephesians 6:11-18 (KJV) "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Spiritual battles require spiritual protection. The Armor of God equips you to stand firm in truth, righteousness, faith, and salvation. Takeaway: I put on God's armor daily to stand strong.
Lesson 5 — Strengthen Through Discipline
Matthew 17:21 (KJV) "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword..." Spiritual strength grows through consistent disciplines—prayer, fasting, worship, and Scripture. These are not optional; they are essential for growth. Takeaway: My strength grows through consistent spiritual discipline.
