Prayer of Spiritual Warfare, Deliverance, and Breakthrough
Almighty Father, in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we come boldly before Your throne of grace during this midnight watch.
We acknowledge that You alone are God, and there is none beside You. All power belongs to You, and through Jesus Christ, You have given us victory over sin, death, and the powers of darkness.
Father, we put on the whole armour of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
We gird our loins with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and prepare our feet with the gospel of peace.
We take the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Lord, we recognize that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
Therefore, we refuse to make people our enemies. Teach us to love those who oppose us while standing firmly against every work of darkness.
In the authority of Jesus Christ, we resist the devil and submit ourselves completely unto God.
Father, we ask You to break the power of every sinful bondage that holds Your people captive.
Deliver those who are bound by addiction, fear, bitterness, unforgiveness, sexual immorality, deception, and destructive patterns of behavior.
Where generational patterns of sin have continued from one generation to another, raise up men and women who will turn to Jesus Christ, repent, and establish a new pattern of righteousness within their families.
Lord, we intercede for those who are being abused, exploited, trafficked, or held captive against their will.
Expose hidden wickedness, bring victims into safety, and raise up righteous men and women who will intervene with wisdom and courage.
Father, just as Paul and Silas prayed and praised You at midnight, teach us to worship You even when circumstances appear impossible.
Let every prison of fear be confronted by faith, every chain of sin be broken through repentance and the power of Christ, and every heart held captive by hopelessness encounter the freedom found in Your Son.
We pray for the salvation of those who do not know You. Open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, and draw them unto repentance.
Father, guard our homes and families throughout this watch. Protect us from every evil work, and strengthen us to remain steadfast in faith.
We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, that His Word is true, and that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper according to Your divine purpose.
We give You all glory, honor, and praise.
In the victorious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Acts 16:25–26 (KJV) — “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.” “And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.”
