Today, I deliberately guard the gates of my life.
My eyes belong to God. I will guard what I behold.
My ears belong to God. I will guard what I receive.
My mouth belongs to God. I will guard what I release.
My mind belongs to God. I will guard what I entertain.
My heart belongs to God. I will guard what takes root.
My body and my hands belong to God. I will guard what I participate in.
My feet belong to God. I will guard where I go.
And as I guard the gates, I ask God to increase my capacity—
To receive what He reveals. To carry what He entrusts. To discern what He is saying. To endure what He allows. To obey what He commands. And to steward what He places in my hands.
Guarded gates. Consecrated heart. Increased capacity.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
