Guard What I Receive

Father, in the name of Jesus, guard my ears.

Jesus said, "Take heed what ye hear." Therefore, give me discernment concerning the voices I continually allow access to my life.

Guard me from gossip, deception, fear, unbelief, manipulation, corrupt teaching, destructive criticism, and voices that contradict what You have spoken.

I refuse to allow repeated ungodly voices to become internal agreements.

Teach me to incline my ear unto Your sayings.

And Father, increase my sensitivity to the Holy Ghost.

As Peter prayed and heard the direction of the Spirit, and as the believers at Antioch ministered unto You and heard the Holy Ghost speak, train my spiritual hearing.

Quiet competing voices.

Increase my capacity to recognize Your direction.

Let me know the difference between Your voice, my own desires, the opinions of people, and the suggestions of the enemy.

Guard my natural ears and sharpen my spiritual ears.
