Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, increase my capacity.
Your Word says, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
Therefore, I call upon You.
Increase my capacity for revelation. Enlighten the eyes of my understanding. Let me see and understand what You desire to reveal.
Increase my capacity for endurance. Strengthen me with might by Your Spirit in my inner man. Teach me to carry pressure without collapsing beneath it.
Increase my capacity for discernment. Sharpen my spiritual judgment so that I recognize truth from error, good from evil, and what is merely permissible from what is excellent.
Increase my capacity for faith. Build me up in my most holy faith as I pray in the Holy Ghost. Teach me to trust You beyond what my natural eyes can see.
Increase my capacity to operate in the authority of Jesus Christ with wisdom, humility, courage, and boldness.
Increase my capacity for resistance. Strengthen me before temptation arrives so that my spirit is prepared when my flesh is challenged.
Increase my capacity for responsibility. Prepare my character before You enlarge my assignment. Make me trustworthy with what You place in my hands.
Increase my capacity to properly steward spiritual gifts. Teach me to yield to the Holy Ghost rather than attempting to manufacture what only He can produce.
Increase my capacity for obedience. Bring my will increasingly under Your will until "Not my will, but thine, be done" becomes the posture of my life.
Increase my sensitivity to the Holy Ghost. Quiet competing voices and teach me to recognize Your leading quickly and respond obediently.
Father, enlarge me without allowing enlargement to destroy me.
Give me character sufficient for the gift.
Give me wisdom sufficient for the revelation.
Give me endurance sufficient for the assignment.
Give me humility sufficient for the authority.
Give me discipline sufficient for the anointing.
Give me obedience sufficient for the responsibility.
Before You increase what flows through me, increase my capacity to carry it.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
