Forgiveness & Cleansing Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, forgive us for any sins committed in word, thought, or in deed.
We come before You together, not as strangers, but as Your people. We confess our sins, and we thank You that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Cleanse us now by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Forgive us where we have been prayerless. Forgive us where we have been divided. Forgive us where we have been careless with our words, casual with Your Word, and comfortable with compromise. Forgive us for the offenses we have carried, the bitterness we have protected, and the pride we have excused.
We forgive everyone who has wronged us. We release them now, and we ask You to release us. Let no root of bitterness remain among us.
On this day of worship, forgive us for approaching Your presence casually. We do not want to sing what we are unwilling to obey. Prepare our hearts before we open our mouths.
Search us, O God, and know our hearts. Try us, and know our thoughts. See if there be any wicked way in us, and lead us in the way everlasting. Create in us clean hearts, and renew right spirits within us.
The Whole Armor of God Father, we take up the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood. People are not our enemy. We wrestle against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
We gird our loins with the belt of truth. Let truth hold every part of our lives together, and let no deception find a place among us.
We put on the breastplate of righteousness. We are made righteous through Jesus Christ, and we ask that our conduct today would agree with the righteousness He purchased for us.
We shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Make us ready to carry peace into every room we enter and to carry the Gospel to everyone You send us to.
Above all, we take the shield of faith, wherewith we shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Where fear has been aimed at us, we lift faith. Where accusation has been aimed at us, we lift faith. Where discouragement has been aimed at us, we lift faith.
We put on the helmet of salvation. Guard our minds. Guard our identity. Guard our confidence in what Jesus Christ has already done for us.
We take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Let Your Word be in our mouths, sharp, accurate, and Spirit-led.
And we pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
We put on this armor together as one Body gathering to worship. Let no division, no offense, and no distraction follow us into Your presence.
The Lord's Prayer Jesus, You taught us to pray, and so together we pray:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Salvation of Souls Father, we lift the lost before You, and we ask according to Your will, for You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
We pray for our unsaved family members. We pray for our unsaved friends. We pray for our neighbors, our coworkers, our classmates, and everyone we pass without knowing their name. Send the conviction of the Holy Ghost. Open blind eyes. Soften hardened hearts.
We pray for the prodigals. Bring them home. We pray for those trapped in destructive lifestyles, in addiction, in despair, in violence, and in shame. Break every chain by the power of Jesus Christ.
We pray for those who have never heard or never understood the Gospel. Send someone to them. We pray for those who have become hardened toward You, and for those who believe they have gone too far to return. Let them hear that the blood of Jesus Christ reaches further than their failure.
The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Therefore we pray the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth labourers into His harvest. Send us. Give us boldness and compassion together. Let the Gospel be preached plainly, let repentance be preached honestly, and let faith in Jesus Christ be the center of everything we say.
And after they believe, give us the patience and love to disciple them, so that new believers are not left alone.
Let someone be saved today. In every gathering, in every service, in every quiet conversation, let the name of Jesus Christ draw hearts to repentance and faith.
The Body of Christ Jesus, You said, "I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." We stand on that word today.
Build Your Church in unity. Build Your Church in holiness. Build Your Church in truth and sound doctrine. Make us a house of prayer. Make us a people of worship. Make us faithful in evangelism and patient in discipleship.
Grow us into spiritual maturity. Give us compassion that costs us something. Give us biblical integrity when no one is watching. Give us spiritual discernment so that we are not carried about by every wind of doctrine.
Restore what has been broken among us. Heal wounded believers. Return those who have drifted. Send revival and awakening according to Your will, and let it begin with repentance in Your own house.
Keep us faithful to Scripture. Increase love among the brethren, for by this shall all men know that we are Your disciples. And give us courage under pressure, so that we do not shrink back in a generation that mocks what is holy.
We pray for every congregation gathering today. Anoint the preaching of Your Word. Let worship be in spirit and in truth, and let Your people leave changed rather than merely entertained.
Leadership & Elders Father, You gave gifts unto men: some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
We pray for the apostles, that they would build on the foundation of Jesus Christ alone. We pray for the prophets, that they would speak only what You have spoken. We pray for the evangelists, that souls would be won and not merely crowds gathered. We pray for the pastors, that they would shepherd Your people with tenderness and strength. We pray for the teachers, that they would rightly divide the word of truth.
Let these gifts equip the saints and edify the Body. Let them operate with biblical integrity, submitted to Jesus Christ, walking in humility. Guard them from competition, from manipulation, and from pride. Let them build people, not platforms.
We pray for elders, bishops, overseers, and deacons. We pray for ministry leaders, church staff, administrators, counselors, mentors, and volunteers. Give them wisdom, integrity, character, discernment, strength, and courage. Protect them from temptation and from weariness. Strengthen their marriages. Cover their children. Give them rest, spiritual endurance, and faithfulness to Scripture, and make them faithful stewards of everything entrusted to them.
Strengthen every leader who will stand before Your people today. Let them speak from prayer and not from pressure, and give them grace for the weight they carry.
Families & Children Father, we lift our marriages and our homes to You. Strengthen husbands to love their wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it. Strengthen wives in wisdom, honor, and grace. Turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers.
We pray for parents, for single parents carrying what was meant for two, for widows and widowers, for caregivers who are exhausted, for extended families, for foster children and the fatherless, and for families walking through hardship. Bring reconciliation where reconciliation is right, and give wisdom for healthy boundaries where they are necessary.
Make our homes places of prayer, Scripture, forgiveness, love, truth, loving discipline, peace, and spiritual growth.
And we cover our children and our youth. We pray for their salvation, their protection, and their identity in Jesus Christ. Give them wisdom, purity, and discernment. Bless their education, their friendships, and their school environments. Guard their minds from what they see online and from every voice that would distort who You made them to be. Protect them from exploitation and from violence. Send them godly mentors. Heal their relationships with their parents. Stir up their spiritual gifts and their calling, and give them courage to stand for truth among their peers.
Raise up a generation that knows You, and not merely a generation that knows about You.
Bless the families gathering today, and reach the families who are not. Let children encounter You in a way they will remember all their lives.
Community & Land Father, we remember those who are easily overlooked. We pray for senior adults, widows and widowers, and those who live alone. We pray for those in nursing facilities and hospital rooms, for those experiencing homelessness, for prisoners, for the lonely, for those in poverty, and for those who simply need practical help. Let Your Church see them, and let Your Church serve them.
We are exhorted that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. So we pray for our neighborhoods, our cities, our counties, our states, our nation, and the nations of the earth. We pray for government officials, judges, law enforcement, emergency personnel, educators, healthcare workers, and community leaders. Give them wisdom, and let justice and mercy meet in their decisions.
If Your people, which are called by Your name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek Your face, and turn from their wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. So we humble ourselves. We turn from our own wicked ways. We seek Your face.
Bring justice, peace, righteousness, and wisdom to our communities. Protect the vulnerable. Strengthen families. Reduce violence. Break destructive addiction. Restore what has decayed. And let the churches in our region truly be salt and light where You have planted us.
Let our worship today become witness tomorrow. Send us out of our gatherings and into our communities carrying what we received.
Today's Prayer Emphasis — Consecration, Worship & the Body of Christ Father, we consecrate ourselves to You at the beginning of this week. We present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable service.
We consecrate our worship. Let it be honest. We consecrate our week before it begins. We consecrate our schedules, our decisions, our relationships, and our resources to Your purpose.
We pray for the whole Body of Christ across our city and across the earth. Where the Church is persecuted, strengthen her. Where the Church is comfortable, awaken her. Where the Church is divided, heal her. Where the Church is faithful, sustain her.
Let this be a day when Your people remember who they belong to.
Daily Corporate Closing Declaration Father, we thank You for hearing us.
We belong to Jesus Christ. We are one Body. We have one Lord. We have one faith. We have one God and Father of all.
We will walk in truth. We will walk in love. We will walk in holiness. We will walk by faith. We will guard our gates. We will pray without ceasing. We will put on the whole armor of God. We will carry the Gospel. We will pray for the lost. We will strengthen the Body. We will honor godly leadership. We will protect and disciple the next generation. We will pray for our communities. We will seek the welfare of the places where God has planted us.
We will not be overcome of evil, but we will overcome evil with good. We will not grow weary in well doing. We will be steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.
May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, our strength, and our redeemer.
Thine is the kingdom. Thine is the power. Thine is the glory.
We ask these things, submit these things, and believe these things according to Your will,
in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
